Wednesday June 29th - recap

A bit of disappointing weather but by having it now we will have a gloriously sunny Canada Day.

Charlie Lang was by to discuss the new Giant Tiger Nevada fundraiser for the West Nipissing General Hospital as well as an update for the Step Dance and Fiddle Festival.

1 Winner this morning as Lise Brassard correctly identified our "Name That Countryfied Tune" winning herself a pair of day passes to the CMT Music Festival taking place at the end of August just North of Barrie. She also won a McDonald's Summer Fun Pack from our friends at the Sturgeon Falls McDonald's who remind you to get a bigger bang for your buck all Summer with McDonald's Dollar Drink Days.

We'll play again tomorrow.

Cynthia Langevin stopped in to let us know about a wonderful Summer reading program called "Splash" being held at the Sturgeon Falls Library in French on Wednesdays at 1pm and Thursdays in English also at 1. Every Monday at 1 at the Cache Bay Library. For kids 6-12 years of age.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon opens this afternoon at cinemas in Sudbury and North Bay in 2d and 3d. Check out the trailer below.
