Tuesday August 2nd - recap

The first Twitter Twuesday of August has come and gone with a a few winners.

Congratulations to Karen Pauze for correctly identifying the caribou as the animal on the Canadian quarter in our Moose Morning Trivia brought to you by the Literacy Alliance of West Nipissing. Her name is entered into the monthly draw at the end of the month and she als wins a small fry from our friends at RIV Chip Stand.

Congratulations also going out to Kim Trahan who is our latest grand prize winner of a pair of weekend passes (including camping) to the CMT Music Festival in Burls Creek - just North of Barrie at the end of the month. She correctly identified all 5 songs in our "country-fied" music montage:

I gotta Feeling
Single Ladies
I Kissed A Girl
Walk like an Egyptian
Owner of a Lonely Heart

We also found out about the complete fire ban that is in place until further notice in the municipality of West Nipissing. Fire Chief Savage also mentioned that as a result of the ban, permits may be extended or money refunded.
