Wednesday August 10th - recap

This morning we had another stumper of a Moose Impossible Trivia question which was: A new study shows that you need to get along with certain people if you want to live longer. To whom are we referring? Answer: your co-workers

On Aug 10th, 1876 - Alexander Graham Bell made the world's first long-distance call from Brantford to the Bell homestead in Paris, Ontario; using a 13 km long line strung from Brantford. On the other end he heard "why don't you call your mother more often?" ;)

We sent a special shout-out to the entire list of organizers of the 15th Annual Step Dance and Fiddle Festival for the great work they have done and continue to do in organizing and pulling off such a successful community event.

Charlie Lang was by to discuss the Festival. He'll continue to check in daily all week. I'll be down at the festival grounds this afternoon, would love to see you there to say hi and hear about Moose FM's new promotion.

Congratulations to Mike Dubuc - winner of this morning's "Name That Fiddle-ized Pop Song".

Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday.
