Wednesday August 31st - recap

This morning marks the 14th anniversary of the tragic death of Princess Diana in 1997. This is the version of "Goodbye England's Rose" that Elton John performed at her funeral.

Our Moose Impossible Trivia challenge this morning was : 93% of people buy one of these every month. What is it? (ANSWER: a pizza)

Congratulations to : Norm Brule
who won themselves a small fry from RIV's Chip stand.

Congratulations as well to April St-Amour of Verner - winner of this morning's "Name That Double Speed Classic". By correctly identifying "Summer of '69" by Bryan Adams, they won a portable radio for their efforts.

We sent a special shout-out to Katie Perreault, Sturgeon Falls resident and hairstyling student who did a great job with my very fussy hair and even fussier requests yesterday. Katie graduates in November and we wished her well.

Charlie Lang was by to discuss What's Happening in West Nipissing.

We also visited with Rick Burgin from Station 7 of the West Nipissing Fire Department who told us about the 9/11 Memorial they are holding in Lavigne.

Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday.
